Research on Hanger Force and Main Arch Stability of Long-Span Concrete-Filled Steel Tube Arch Bridge

In recent years, the construction of a CFST arch bridge has developed rapidly; however, as kind structural system dominated by compression, with increase material strength and span, stability main become more important. this paper, finite element method is used to analyze hanger force long-span bridge. Combined Shenzhen Rainbow Bridge project, axial hanger, internal force, are studied. establishment model, considering actual operation bridge, model simulates interaction between steel pipe concrete, it studies large deformation bridges, stress distribution overall analyzed. The results show that vertical displacement deck, most members upper ribs greater than lower ribs. bending moment rib near foot larger, compressive other positions. suspender largest at both ends middle close each other, changes little under same case. buckling modes mainly lateral or flexural outside plane, which indicates stiffness structure larger transverse stiffness. research make load-bearing mechanism clear also provide certain reference for design
